What is a notary?

 A Texas notary is a person of proven integrity appointed by the State of Texas to serve the public as an impartial witness in taking acknowledgments, administering oaths and affirmations, and performing other acts authorized by law. Notaries play an essential role in the functioning of our legal and commercial systems. 

What is the purpose for a person notarizing a document?

 Notarization is the official fraud-deterrent process that assures the parties of a transaction that a document is authentic, and can be trusted. It is a three-part process, performed by a Notary Public, that includes of vetting, certifying and record-keeping.

What are acceptable forms of ID?

 

The only types of ID cards accepted must be issued by State or Government. These are generally:

  • Drivers License 
  • State ID Card
  • Military ID
  • INS Card
  • Passport

*A work identification card has no expiration and therefore is NOT a legitimate form of ID. The ID must contain a Signature, Physical Description, Photo and Expiration to be acceptable.

What is considered Emergency Services?

 Your time is valuable and we offer our Mobile Notary Services with flexible hours that meet your needs.
